Maybe I was dragging my feet looking for a new job, looking for a way to get away from teaching. In the back of my mind, there were questions about if I really wanted to leavie it at all. I think I was ready to get away from the school I was teaching at, but only because of the intolerable conditions and attitudes that my coworkers and managers brought to the place.
