- Eng was
on the right and Chang was on the left.

- A
ligament from breast to navel that became 4 inches long
and 8 inches around joined them. They learned to walk,
run, and swim together with perfect coordination. During
their first show in Boston, Eng and Chang simply stood on
the stage.

winter night, Chang died.

- Shocked
by the death of his brother, Eng died 3 hours
later.

amazing that they stood. Simply incredible to look at.
Isn't it strange how after all these years of disbelief
about how they could rise so high, that the one thing we
never believed they could do was fall down.
